On June 8th Donna Lavernge, ventriloquist, performs at 10 a.m. in Pine Prairie and 2 p.m. in Mamou. The Mamou performance is at the Teen Center behind the library and health unit.
On Tuesday June 7, Donna Lavergne performs at 10 a.m. at Turkey Creek and 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in Ville Platte.
The Library Board will meet at 4 p.m. on June 15th at the main library (Ville Platte).
The main library and all branches will be closed Monday May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.
Summer Reading Early Registration begins Monday, May 23rd at all branches except Turkey Creek. Turkey Creek is not open on Mondays and will begin Early Registration on Tuesday, May 24th. Participants will be able to get their free registration packets and also purchase T-shirts or tote bags with the Summer Reading theme if they wish.
