The library has recently partnered with Evangeline Community Action to support their once-a-week after school program for youth from grades K – 12. On two Thursdays a month Keishia Ford and Patricia Harris volunteer to offer enrichment programs that are fun and memorable that includes French conversation, crafts, and games! This is a wonderful outreach program for the library and could be a super gratifying volunteer opportunity for anyone who would like to give back to the community and help influence the kids in positive ways. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Carleen Bellard at 337-363-1306.
