As January draws to a close, the work crews on the new main library project continue to impress with their wonderful work ethic.  The work goes on steadily and the work site is kept in great shape.

As of Jan. 26th, the building was almost completely enclosed and roof work had begun.  Also, more of the concrete parking and sidewalk area had been poured.

The framing steel is up as of Thursday, Dec. 27, and plywood is beginning to be added to the sides.

The outline of the building really shows up now!

Watching the steel go up is exciting and as of 12/21/12 the outline of the roof is beginning to emerge.

The part of the building that juts out at the back of the building is the young children’s area.

You can really begin to see the outline of the building now, with the steel framing going up.
