The Main Library and the branch libraries will be closed to the public on Tues. morning Aug. 14th due to the groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the future main library.

The Main Library (Ville Platte) will reopen at noon.  Mamou, Basile, and Turkey Creek will reopen at 1.  Pine Prairie will be closed at least part of the morning and possibly all morning.  Chataignier will open at its regular time in the afternoon.

The Friends of the Library will meet Tues. Aug. 14 at 6 pm at the main library.  Everybody is welcome.  Please come and bring a friend!

The main library and all branches will be closed Monday May 28th in observance of Memorial Day.

Library and all branch libraries closed till 1 pm on Thursday May 24th due to PC Reservation training.  Pine Prairie library is closed for the day.

A FREE one-day course in PowerPoint, level 1, will be offered at the main library on Tues. May 29 from 9 to 5.  To register or get on the waiting list, call 888.487.2700 or go to lajacc.state.lib.la.us/training.  This is a grant-sponsored course for ages 16 and up.
