The Evangeline Parish Library Board of Control will hold its regular meeting (rescheduled) on Wednesday November 16 at 4 p.m. at the main library.  An agenda is posted at the library.  The meeting is open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

The Evangeline Parish Library (main library and all branches) will be closed Friday November 11th in observance of Veterans’ Day.

The main library will close at 6 p.m. rather than its usual 8 p.m. Tuesday closing time today November 8th, due to staff shortage and illness.  We apologize for the inconvenience and will try to have all facilities back on their regularly scheduled hours as soon as possible.

The Friends of the Library have reduced prices on their 2012 Book Lovers’ Calendars, now $8 for one calendar or $15 for two.  They are available at the various library branches.

Due to a staff shortage, Turkey Creek will only be open shorter hours  on Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next 2 weeks, and possibly for the next 3 weeks.  Temporary hours are as follows:

Tuesday: 8 to 5; Wednesday: 2 to 5, and Thursday: 12:30 to 5
