The Library is starting emergency preparations, just in case.  One or more branches may be temporarily closed later in the week, if road or other conditions require it.  Any delayed openings/early closures, etc. will be announced on KVPI and if possible on this webpage.

So far the main library and all branches are operating on their regular schedule, except there will be NO Tuesday late hours this week (applies to Ville Platte branch/headquarters).

The next Library Board of Control meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday Sept. 19th at 4 pm at the Main Library (242 W. Main St., Ville Platte).  A meeting agenda will be posted at the main library at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.  The meeting is open to the public, and public comments are welcomed and encouraged.  Refreshments will be served.
