We are closed for Thanksgiving holidays Thursday Nov. 22nd through Sunday, Nov. 25th. The Main Library and all branches will reopen at their regular times next week.
We wish everybody a very happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful for our many wonderful library patrons and the very dedicated Friends of the Library!
The Library Board meeting scheduled for Nov. 14th was cancelled due to lack of a quorum. It has been rescheduled for Thurs. Nov. 29th, time to be announced.
Thanks to the State Library of Louisiana, we have access to GREAT TumbleBook collections! You can access them either at the library or anywhere with the use of your library card. To explore TumbleBooks, click on the “Louisiana Library Connection” icon on our webpage and then look for the following entries on the Library Connection introductory page:
- Audio Book Cloud: “online streaming audio books for all ages, from TumbleBooks”

- TumbleBook Cloud Jr.: “a special edition of TumbleBook Cloud designed specifically for elementary and middle school students”
- TumbleBook Library: “Interactive storybooks, chapter books, nonfiction, language learning, puzzles, and games for kindergarten through sixth grades”
