Staff of the Evangeline Parish Library will be taking their yearly ethics training the afternoon of Friday March 2. As a result, the main library and all branches normally open on Friday will have reduced hours. Hours planned are as follows:
- Main Library (Ville Platte): open 8 to 11:30 and 3 to 6
- Mamou Branch: open 8 to 11:30 and 3 to 5
- Basile Branch: open 8 to 11:30 and 3 to 5
- Pine Prairie Branch: open 8 to 11:30; closed the rest of the day
- Chataignier Branch: closed
