1. Special Business

1. Approval to postpone the main library expansion project until a new director is in place.
2. Update on the progress of the purchase efforts of the Fournerat property in Basile to build a new library.
3. Approval to accept the revised lease with Quint West for use of property located adjacent to the Pine Prairie branch library.
4. Discuss the proposed fiber broadband extension by Conterra Networks from the Bayou Chicot area to Turkey Creek library. The estimated cost to the library would be $40,000 reflecting a 90% discount of $400,000 through the Erate program. We could amortize the cost over 4 year to provide fiber to the branch.
5. Approval of the promotion of Mrs. Emily Fontenot to Business Manager / Administrative Assistant / Circulation Manager, Step 19, 40 hours per week, with a rate of pay of $16.85 per hour, effective at the beginning of the next pay period.
6. Approval of the purchase of 2 uniforms for each staff member at the main library and all branches for an approximate cost of $750.
