The Evangeline Genealogical and Historical Society will meet at the main library Sat. Oct. 20th at 9:30 a.m. Guest speaker William Thibodeaux will discuss the crimes and execution of Euzebe Vidrine, the last man to be executed by hanging here in Ville Platte. Everybody is welcome.
