Congratulations to the Friends of the Library raffle winners!

The winning tickets were drawn on the “J.C. and Randy” show on KVPI Tues. June 4th.  Thank you so much, KVPI, for sponsoring the drawing on the radio!

Gus Orlando of Bayou Chicot was the winner of the Cajun bateau filled with special items, including Gene Buller’s wonderful, “Bucks, Ducks, and Doves.”

Betsey Duplechain of Vidrine was the winner of the fabulous Yeti cooler.

Faye Langley of Eunice/Basile was the winner of the Paragon get away weekend with lodging, meal, and golf.

All winners can pick up their prizes at the main library in Ville Platte.

Special thanks to all who participated!  The Friends of the Library sold over 500 tickets and raised over $5,000 for furniture for the new main library.  Special thanks to Paula Lafleur and Linda Lebsack who coordinated the raffle.

Donors for the prizes were Paragon Casino (2 nights, dinner, and golf), Matthew Soileau and Industrial Supply (Yeti cooler), and the following donors for the Cajun bateau and its contents: Scott Perrodin, Cecil Nye, Gene Buller, Jake Roberie, Josh Dickerson, Rudy Bachraty, Scotty-Xciter Calls, Ted Daigle, and Ubons BBQ.
