The Library Board of Control will meet Thursday, January 9th at 12 noon at the main library in Ville Platte. The meeting is open to the public, and public comments are welcome.
Monday, January 6, 2020, Allons Parler en Français, our friendly, relaxed conversationnel program continues. This is a free program on Monday afternoons at 3:30 pm at the main library in Ville Platte. Please share and mention that the coffee is always hot! Our Basile branch Library is also hosting a French Coffee Talk every other Tuesday at 9 am. The next one is Tuesday, January7th. Please share this good news!
Tuesday & Thursday every week – For the youngsters, Our Mother Goose “Story hour” continues @ 3:30 pm in the Children’s Room. Please share.
Wednesday, 1/8/20, our “Books & Beyond” program with Tina Davis for ages 8 – 16, will meet at 4 pm in the multipurpose room. Games are going to be played! New members are always welcomed.
Thursday, 1/9/20, the library Board of Control will meet at the main library in Ville Platte at noon. The public is invited to attend.
