Our Monday conversational “French with Friends” gathering is at 3:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room at the Main library in Ville Platte. The coffee will be hot and the conversations will be lively. This is a free program for the public where anyone, any age, is welcomed!
Tuesday & Thursday “Story hour for the Youngsters” is @ 3:30 pm in the Children’s Room.
Tuesday “Drop-in Crochet Gatherings” at 5:30 pm. This is a sharing group. Anyone interested in Crocheting together to teach and share with others (especially newbies) are welcomed. Folks are asked to bring their own Crochet tools and yarn.
Wednesday, 1/29/20, @ 10-:30 am, the Mystery Book Club will meet to discuss their current read and to choose a new book for February. New members are welcomed.
Wednesday, 1/29/20, @ 11:30 – 1pm is our” Meet the Author” event with Christopher Fontenot, also in the Multipurpose Room. He will be talking about his Acadian Prairie Series and will have copies of his latest book, Amelie, for sale and a signing. Coffee and sweet treats will be served. Please share.
Wednesday, 1/29/20, our “Books & Beyond” program with Tina Davis for ages 8 – 16, will meet at 3:30 pm in the multipurpose room to watch a MOVIE! New members are always welcomed.
