Tina Deville Davis set up a “Book  Walk” on the library grounds facing W. Main Street. Parents are encouraged to walk and read the “Book” with their children for a unique experience during this unsettling time. While you are there remember to our Little Free Library located on the picnic table in front of the main library in Ville Platte. We change out the books often. We know that it is difficult for a lot of folks to use online services, but remember that you can continue checking out items (books, movies, audiobooks, etc.) using your regular library card. Our Overdrive/Libby app will allow you to get a free VIRTUAL LIBRARY CARD by using your cell phone number. We said it before, but we can’t say this enough to our patrons all over the Parish: “WE MISS YOU! however, in accordance with the mandates issued by Governor Edwards, the main library and all branch libraries will continue to be closed to the public until April 30, 2020.
