The Evangeline Genealogical and Historical Society will meet Saturday April 21st at 9:30 am at the main library (242 W. Main St., Ville Platte).  Everybody is welcome.  Come learn more about local history and family research.

The Library Board of Control will meet Wed. April 18 at 4:30 pm at the main library (242 W. Main St., Ville Platte).  The meeting is open to everybody, and refreshments will be served.  An agenda will be posted at the main library on Mon. April 16th.

On the agenda will be a progress report on the new main library project.  Come see drawings of the future building, which will be constructed across from Mikey’s Donuts and Citizen’s Bank.

The Friends of the Evangeline Parish Library will meet Tuesday April 10th at 6 pm at the main library (242 W. Main St., Ville Platte).  Everybody is welcome.  Please come and bring a friend.
