Special thanks to the Food for Thought Book Club this week for the generous donation to the Friends of the Library to  help furnish the public areas of the new main library!

All donations to the new main library furnishing project are tax deductible if made to the Friends, who have 501(c)3 status.

Residents of Savoy Heights Apartments hold book donations.  At left is Mamou assistant branch manager Gigi Guillory, and at right is Mamou branch manager Angie Henry.

The Library Board of Control will meet Monday, March 18th, at 4 p.m. at the Main Library (242 W. Main St., Ville Platte).  The meeting is open to the public, and public attendance and comments are welcomed and encouraged.  Refreshments will be served.

An agenda for the meeting will be posted no later than Friday morning March 15th at the library.
