Not all of the phone numbers in the phone book are correct for the library system.  For example, Basile’s number in the phone book is a technology-connected number,  not a voice or fax number, so it rings and nobody can hear it or pick it up.  We have the correct numbers for each branch posted on the branch pages of this website, but here is a convenient list for anybody who would like to keep them handy.  We also will be working to get the phone directory numbers corrected as soon as possible.

One of our favorite magicians, David LeBoeuf, performs this week!  He is at Turkey Creek at 10 a.m. on Tues. July 14th and at the main library (Ville Platte) on the 14th at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.  On Wednesday the 15th he performs at Pine Prairie at 10 a.m. and at Mamou at 2 p.m.  On Thursday the 16th he performs at Basile at 10 a.m. and at the Chataignier Village Hall (right next to the Chataignier Library) at 3 p.m.  Don’t miss him!
