The Evangeline Parish Library Main Library/Headquarters and all the library branches (Basile, Mamou, Pine Prairie, Chataignier, and Turkey Creek) are all closed to the public all day today, Wednesday April 26th. Staff are attending workshop day at the main library.
The Basile Branch Library is open again! Improvements completed include new flooring, relocated patron computers, and set up of a special conference/study room. Storage and drainage improvements are in process.
Special thanks to Basile Branch manager Sherry Bergeron and everybody who has worked so hard throughout this improvement process.
Guest speakers are Fr. Jason Vidrine and Mardel Sibley. They will discuss their trip to Chartres, Alabama. Everybody is welcome.
The book for discussion is “Presumed Innocent” by Scott Turow. Everybody is welcome.
