Our Basile branch Library is also hosting a French Table every other Tuesday at 9 am. This week is the first one is Tuesday, November 12th. Please share this good news!
Tuesday, 11/12/19, we will have two authors from Baton Rouge, Glen Duncan and Curtis Van, who will speak to the Rotary Club then be at the library at 1:30 pm for a meet and greet. Mr. Duncan and Mr. Van along with Jay Dardenne wrote a compelling story about the Louisiana Flag: “A Modern History of the Louisiana Pelican Flag: or A Tale of the surprisingly difficult quest for the “official” state flag! The public is invited to the library for a short meet and greet.
For the youngsters, Ms. Pat’s Mother Goose Tuesday and Thursday “Storytime with Crafts” continues @ 3:30 pm in the Children’s Room.
Our Wednesday “Books & Beyond” program with Tina Davis for ages 8 – 16, will meet at 4 pm. This week kids will paint Thanksgiving signs! New members are always welcomed.
