Allons Parler en Français is how we start our week at the main library. It is a conversational French program held on Monday afternoons at 3:30 pm at the main library. The coffee is always hot, too!
Tuesdays at 5:30 are our FINANCIAL EDUCATION BOOT CAMP continues. There are still spaces available and this event is FREE to the public. We’d love to have a few high school seniors attend! Call the library or go online: http://bit.ly/sbtivbc2 to register.
For the youngsters, Ms. Pat’s Mother Goose Tuesday and Thursday “Storytime with Crafts” continue @ 3:30 pm for ages 2-15. Her programs will be in either the Children’s Room or Multipurpose room.
Our Wednesday “Books & Beyond” program with Tina Davis for our pre-teen / teens, will meet at 4 pm. New members are always welcomed.
Early Notices: The Evangeline Genealogical & Historical Society will meet on Saturday, October 19th, at 9 am. Tuesday, October 22nd the main library will host Lawyers in Libraries event from event from 9 – 11 am. This is a free opportunity for folks to get some legal advice. Details will follow soon. BOOKFEST update: Deadline to get a participant spot is October 15th. ! Contact Suzy Lemoine @ [email protected] or call the main library for more information. The Mystery Book Club usually meets on the last Wednesday of each month. The October date is 10/30/19 at 10:30 am. The book for the month is “The Sentence is Death” By Anthony Horowitz.
