At the Library for May 22nd

So much support for our Summer Reading programming! Here’s a big “thank you” to our last summer reading incentive sponsors: Evangeline Parish Farm Bureau.   Your support is an acknowledgement of the importance of literacy and lifelong learning opportunities that are accessible to all through our public library system.
NEW now at the Main Library on Tuesdays @ 1 pm we are hosting “Allons Parle en François”, an opportunity for anyone who wants to speak or listen to our beautiful French language. Coffee is included with this FREE program! Also, this Monday, 5/23/22, the kids club, Brilliant Butterflies will meet at 4 pm to make crafts. Parents are encouraged to participate. 
Good News! Turkey Creek branch library now has an active Facebook page! Please take a look and share! Now the main library and every branch has a timely way to promote the variety of  programs that they customize for their patrons!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 4^th for our Summer Reading Kickoff event with the impressive KUBUKI DANCERS! They will be “breakin it down” at the main library at 10 am for a morning of free entertainment, inspiration, and motivation. We hope to draw the interest of our Tweens and Teens especially! Holiday closure notice: The main library and all branches will be closed on May 28^th and May 30^th to celebrate the holiday.
