Thank you all so much!

Thank you all for a wonderful retirement send off at the main library.  It has been my privilege to be the library director for Evangeline Parish for nearly 16 years.  We accomplished a lot in the past few years, none of which would have been possible without wonderful parish-wide support.  I am especially proud of the fact that we built the Turkey Creek Branch, the Chataignier Branch (soon to open), and the new main library/headquarters (Ville Platte), expanded the size of the Pine Prairie Father Leslie Prescott Branch, and renovated the interiors of the Mamou and Basile Branches.  Better facilities make possible better library services.

I hope that you all will welcome the incoming library director Margie Mealer and give her and the Library Board of Control your support as they continue to provide quality library service for Evangeline Parish.
