Main Library and all branches closed Friday Dec. 8th, weather closing

The Main Library and all branches are closed Friday Dec. 8th due to the weather. Generally when the Evangeline Parish schools are closed due to a weather event, the Library system closes also.

We plan to reopen at the regular time, 8 am, in Ville Platte on Saturday Dec. 9th. We are open on Saturdays at the main library from 8 am to 12 noon. However, Detel has just notified us that the Internet to the library seems to be down. You may want to call us on Saturday morning at 337 363-1369 to see what services are available before you make your trip to the library. We will do our best to be open as scheduled and have all regular services available.
