This week we’ll finish off the month of June with a fun outdoor PETTING ZOO! The Honey Do Petting Zoo will be at the Turkey Creek branch library on Tuesday, June 26th @ 10 am then later at the Pine Prairie branch library at 2 pm. On Wednesday, June 27th they will be at the Mamou branch library @ 10 am then at the Chataignier branch library at 2 pm. On Thursday, June 30th they will be at the Ville Platte Main library @ 10 am then at the Basile branch library at 2 pm. THIS SCHEDULE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PERFORMERS SO PLEASE CHECK OUR WEBPAGE OR FACEBOOK PAGE. Don’t forget to register for the reading programs that are unique to each branch library that reward kids with prizes for books, Ebooks, and audiobooks that they check out and enjoy! The Mystery Book Club will meet on Wednesday, June 29th to discuss their book, “Run Rose Run” by James Patterson and Dolly Parton. Note: There will be NO meeting in July.
NEW: Our first Grief Counseling event is scheduled for Tuesday, June 28th @ 2 pm. This is opportunity is provided by Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care and is free to anyone who needs it. It is offered on the last Tuesday of each month.
