At the Library for January 3, 2021

The Board of Directors and staff are happy to kick off this new year with some good news! The library is now offering its patrons easy and direct access to digital Magazines on your cell phone, tablet or laptop from the comfort of your home or when you are on the move! We purchased an APP based program called Flipster that can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple Store! The variety of magazines is super. Here is a list for you to check out:  Bon Appetite, Complete Wedding Magazine, Consumer Reports Buying Guide, Dr. Oz: The Good Life, Elle, Entertainment Weekly, Food Network Magazine, Good Housekeeping, HGTV Magazine, Highlights, House Beautiful, New Orleans Magazine, People Prevention, Quilters World, Southern Living, Star, Sunset, The Old House, Woman’s Day.  Once the app is downloaded, you choose Evangeline library and sign in with your library card number. NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A USER NAME AND PASSWORD.  Then the magazine of you your choice can be downloaded and saved as one of your favorites! There is no limit to the number of magazines that you download either. An added feature is that past issues can also be accessed. You can also visit the Flipster website to learn more about the many options that available to its users like the ability to print out articles or recipes (https://flipster.ebsco.com).
