At the Library for 8/15/21

The library Board of Directors and staff are doing all that we can to keep our patrons safe during this resurgence of COVID in our Parish. We extend very heartfelt expressions of sympathy to those patrons that we recently lost and pray for those who are facing the awful challenges presented by this virus. Please mask up and sanitize your hands often. Two reminders: (1) August is a FINE FREE month for the library system so no worries about late fines even with the main library, Chataignier and Turkey branches being closed last week for a deep cleaning to prevent any possible exposure of the virus to our patrons, and (2) FREE WIFI is available in the parking areas around the library buildings. We do anticipate reopening next Monday, 8/16/21. Please check our webpage and Facebook page often for updates. MASK WILL CONTINUE TO BE REQUIRED.

Thank you to those who recently dropped off donations of used books, magazines, DVD’s, etc. They will be quarantined and disinfected before being put on the Friends of the Library sale shelf. There are so many folks who are homeschooling and kids doing virtual learning that we would like to make items that can be owned and used at home more available at bargain prices! Check out the Friends section the next time you are in your library.
