Sunday March 13th the Basile Branch Library will be open for special videotaping of residents’ memories of life in Basile. This is a part of Basile’s 100th anniversary celebration this Sunday.
Update, Monday, March 14th: The Basile celebration was a great success! Special thanks to Sherry Bergeron, Branch Manager, and Becky Leger, Branch Assistant Manager, for working at the Basile Branch during the celebration. Also, very special thanks to former Library Board Member Elaine Deshotels, who coordinated the event for the town of Basile and who did the videotaped interviews with Basile residents throughout the day at the library.
