The Friends of the Evangeline Parish Library will be sponsoring a fall book fest on Saturday Sept. 26^th from 8 am to 12 pm in the multi-purpose room of the main library. We have invited local authors to come share their books and experiences and some other surprises are being planned.  We are asking that Friends members please make plans to come as a volunteer, donate your gently used books, and / or make a Sweet Treat for the food sale.

The Friends of the Library will sponsor a fundraising event that will include a huge used book sale; a meet & greet with a number of local authors; entertainment for the kids; and a Sweet Treat sale. This event will also celebrate the first year anniversary of our new main library in Ville Platte.

The discussion will be based on the July choice.
