Our regular schedule resumes Monday, January 4, 2016. Happy New Year to all!

Just a quick reminder that the Library system entered “Fine Free” days on Dec. 15th and will continue “Fine Free” through Friday January 15th!

Any items returned in good condition* during this period will have ALL fines and fees on them waived.

This means that NO MATTER HOW LONG you have had the item out, you can return it on or before January 15th and if it is in good condition there will be no charge.

This is a great time to check under car seats, take a peek under children’s beds, etc. and see if any Evangeline Parish Library items have gotten misplaced.

*Please note that good condition includes being free of water damage and for DVD’s includes having their covers intact.  Books with water damage must be withdrawn from the collection immediately because of potential mold issues, and therefore patrons are charged the full cost of the item for any book returned with water damage. There is a charge for damaged DVD covers because the covers must be replaced.

The Evangeline Parish Library and all branches are closed for the Christmas holidays.  We will reopen at regular time next week.
