Update, Monday, March 14th: The Basile celebration was a great success! Special thanks to Sherry Bergeron, Branch Manager, and Becky Leger, Branch Assistant Manager, for working at the Basile Branch during the celebration. Also, very special thanks to former Library Board Member Elaine Deshotels, who coordinated the event for the town of Basile and who did the videotaped interviews with Basile residents throughout the day at the library. For more information about Basile’s celebration and about the videotaping at the library, please see the article online at evangelinetoday.com.
