The Main Library and the branches currently open will close at 2 pm today, January 6th, due to rapidly changing weather conditions.  The Chataignier Branch, which normally is open from 2 pm to 5 pm on weekdays, will NOT be open this afternoon.

The Main Library may not have Saturday hours tomorrow morning Jan. 7th, depending on weather conditions.

To make it easier for folks to run by during their lunch hours, we have moved “drop in tech help” to 11:30 am to 1:30 pm each Thursday at the main library.

Don’t forget: “fine free” period continues through Jan. 17th at the main library and all branches.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  The Evangeline Parish Main Library and all five branch libraries are closed Thursday Dec. 22nd through Monday Dec. 26th.  The library and the branches reopen at their usual times on Tuesday Dec. 27th.  We wish everybody very happy and safe holidays and look forward to seeing you Tuesday.

December 15th was the beginning of “Fine Free Month” for the Library system.  Return items in good condition to any of our six locations and have all fines on the items waived.  For more information, please call 363-1369, or the branch nearest you.
