The Library Board of Control will meet Wed. Nov. 14th at 4 p.m. at the Main Library (242 W. Main St., Ville Platte).  The meeting is open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

The Main Library and all branches will be closed Monday Nov. 12th in observance of Veterans’ Day.

The Friends of the Library will meet Tuesday Oct. 9th at 6 p.m. at the main library.  Everybody is invited.

A presentation on Internet use will by given by CenturyLink Tuesday Oct. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the main library.  Everybody is welcome.

The Evangeline Genealogical and Historical Society will meet Sat. Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the main library.  Researcher William Thibodeaux will speak on the Ezube Vidrine murders and execution.  Everybody is welcome.
