At the Library for the week of March 24th

Good news to share! To promote our new “First Tuesday Game Night” program, we will be hosting a Bingo Game on 4/2/19 @ 5 pm for all ages! We will also have a variety of games available for play that same night from 6 – 7:30 pm. This is a new program that will occur on the first Tuesday of each month (except in June & July when we have summer reading performers at the Main library) and it is all about games. We are especially interested in starting a Chess Game group. Please come by and  check us out!

Tuesday and Thursday’s our children’s programs with Pat Savoy’s Mother Goose Storytime with Crafts or movies at 3:30 pm (for ages 2 – 11).

Tuesday Crocheting (when Ms. Pat Fontenot is available) @ 5pm. (This is a drop in class offered by a volunteer and may not occur every week. See Suzy Lemoine for details)

 Wednesday, March 27, our Books & Beyond Book Club pre-teen/teen club (8-16) will meet at 4 pm in the Multipurpose Room at the main library with facilitator Tina Davis to choose a new book! New members are welcomed to attend.

Early Summer Reading support thank you to the FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY who just booked a really cool traveling exotic animal petting zoo, Schoolhouse Safari, for June 18, 19 & 20th! They will be shown in our Summer Reading Calendar of Events once it is completed with logos from our sponsors.
