Good news to share! A few months ago we began the process of digitizing our collection of parish high school yearbooks through the OCI Yearbook Project facilitated by the Oklahoma Correctional Industries. We just received the digitized DVD’s along with the original yearbooks and we are thrilled with the results! Now we can offer patrons the ability to view yearbook pages online in the Main library or Mamou Branch library and print out particular pages. Drop by for details. We want to continue this project and are in need of MORE parish high school yearbooks. Here’s the list of schools and years that are digitized now. If you have a yearbook that is not listed, please consider loaning it to us to have it digitized then returned to you. BAYOU CHICOT YRS: 1956 & 1985. MAMOU HIGH YRS: 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1958, 1961, 1964, 1978, 1980, 1982 & 2010. PINE PRAIRIE HIGH YRS: 2002 & 2010. SACRED HEART HIGH YRS: 1977 & 1979.
